6 meses

I figured I'd write about Daniel's 6 month check before he turns 7 months in a couple days.
Stats:
Weight-15.12lbs 25%
Height-26in.. I think 60%
Danielito is a super active and wiggly baby. He loves being on the floor so he can roll and army crawl himself around to get all the toys.
He eats solids like a champ
He got 2 bottom teeth 2 weeks ago which hasn't been too fun for me while nursing but for the most part he doesn't bite often
He still loves being in the hamaca and dances to music with Elia
He's a very expressive and happy boy and is a mami's boy for sure!

I'll also do a quick update on Elia while I'm at it. Elia is growing up too fast! She has such a little sassy, fun, loving/nurturing personality. She has been good about going "pipis en la pelela" (potty training) when I ask her or tell her to go, now we need to work on her telling us. But she loves her sticker chart and being able to eat "caramelos". She talks a bunch, she loves saying prayers, reading her "liblos"(books) and of course dancing.
Last month was the quinceñera of one of my y.w (which everything turned out beautiful and the youth did a great job dancing) and since she went to all the practice she too learned the moves of the two dances I taught and will randomly tell me "mami baila asi", so i put the music on and dance with her..I need to get her into a dance class.
This last month has been a bit crazy for us..Danny left on a backpacking trip for a week and we were able to pick him up in Yosemite, our first time there.
We also got to meet up with one our closest friends in San Fran to spend a day with them before they leave to France.

My brother inlaw and family have been living with us for the past 3 weeks as they get situated in their new place....so elia has been very entertained with her cousins (I will write more about this in a later post) other than that things have been going good, Danny has been getting in touch with a few contacts he has for possible jobs or volunteering once he finishes his dissertation. He's applied for a 2 yr post doc in Nicaragua so we will see where life takes us. But as of right now, we are enjoying every minute!

Our Summer so far

I'm sure you've noticed I've become a slacker at keeping my blog up to date and since a lot has happened since my last post, at this point my "catch up" will intail yet another list of our "happenings" with a lot of pictures. Enjoy!

*we celebrated our 4 yr aniversary in June and I was able to wear my ring again (had to send it to Ut to get worked on)
*Danielito went on his first father-son campout at 4 months. Everybody thought I was crazy for letting him go
*went to Utah for a week for my sisters babyshower and spent time with family/friends. While in Utah Elia got to go to dance practice with lani, my dads house almost caught  on fire and  I saw the Honduras soccer team at the airport
*I've been super busy with my calling as Y.W pres. Doing camp fundraisers, youth conf, mutual and keeping my girls active. Danny is the Y.M pres. So we have busy Tuesdays and Sundays
*I was asked to choreographed and teach 2 dances for one of my yw quinceñera
*we've been enjoying going to the spray parks to cool down from the nasty heat
*my kids are growing up too fast. Elia talks a lot. She knows 13 letters of the alphabet in spanish, she can count to 20 in spanish to 10 in english she LOVES getting wet, being outside with Danny, she's always helping me around the house, talking on the phone to prima lani, she loves dancing and singing and she adores her brother! Oh and she's doing better with potty training (: but we still have a ways to go!
