Obviously this year was my first mothers day. It was pretty relaxed. On Saturday Danny took Elia out shopping with him because I wasn't feeling good. I was able to take a bath and a long nap. When he got home he had purchased a wooden futon- basically new, at a second hand store close to the house. He remembered that I was looking at some cause I thought it would be nice to have for when all our family came to visit, but we didn't find any in time so I forgot about it....but he didn't and when he saw it he thought it was a good deal so he bought it and said it was for mothers day. We then went shopping for some shorts/capris because I had a Khols coupon but I get depressed shopping now because my hips are A LOT more wide then from before, so instead I found 3 tops for $10. I'm trying to be more of a bargain shopper by shopping with coupons or I use the gift cards that we got when we got married (almost 2 years ago) to help save money. Over all it was a nice first mothers day and I feel so blessed and lucky to have the opportunity of being a mother here on earth and help raise Heavenly Fathers children (although right now we just have one, Danny's plans are to have many more, hence "children"). I now understand the unconditional love a mother has for her children. Elia is my world and I would do anything for her....I love how she is my biggest fan, how she smiles or pays attention to me when I act silly or try to entertain her, I love her cry, her smile, how big her eyes get when some thing startles her, how she whimpers in her sleep while she is dreaming, how she can never keep her headbands on because she always pulls them down in front of her eyes or down to her neck, how wiggly she is and how much Danny adores her..... I pretty much love everything about her! One of my really good friends- we are pretty much hermanas, got married on the 13th of May in Southern CA, an opportunity presented it self for me to be able to drive down with one of Danny's friends who was up here for an interview so I was able to make it to at least the reception and I spent 4 days with my in-laws. Elia and I had fun, but lets just say that Danny missed us a lot by the second day.
